American Energy Technologies Co. (AETC) is proud to announce that beginning August 25, 2015, AETC is ISO 9001:2008 compliant. After more than two years of preparation, we have launched this important program across all locations, departments, and processes of AETC.
The AETC Quality Management Systems have been developed to comply with ISO 9001:2008 industry standards as a reference. On the company side, it is supported by formal documentation which includes: a comprehensive Quality Management Manual, sixteen Quality Management System pillar procedures (QMSP), hundreds of individual Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), which are aided by corresponding supporting forms. All of the above are a subject of continuous improvement on a daily basis.
Introduction of the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems into our operations now ensures that all AETC production is consistently executed with the customer focus, and premium level of quality in mind.
AETC has undergone quality auditing for one full year in order to independently verify compliance through the Defense Contract Management Authority (DCMA-Chicago, located at 1523 West Central Road Building #203, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60005, USA).
We are very excited about this new program. “AETC is looking forward to continuing our ISO 9001:2008 compliance and continuously improving our manufacturing processes and research and development initiatives. Our company expects to apply for the ISO 9001:2015 certification with a certified registrar upon availability of this program to the industry,” comments Nicole Torskiy, AETC’s ISO Oversight Committee Representative (AETC’s dedicated employee responsible for maintaining an effective quality system).
“By installing the ISO 9001:2008-compliant Quality Systems, AETC is able to closely monitor every research and development and production detail. The priority of AETC is to produce the purest, best-performing, highest quality product for our clients. The rules of ISO program allow us to save records of data and analyses for seven years. As a result, we are able to track changes in raw materials, analyze opportunities and improve our processes. This helps cultivate a lasting relationship with our clients. We are excited to grow as a company and foster untapped potential,” adds Amanda Flaxman, R&D Engineer.
